Nature of educational program
A school’s representative or other authorized person may not make a misrepresentation about:
- The type, source, nature and extent of a school’s institutional, programmatic, or specialized accreditation;
- Whether a student may transfer course credits to another school, or conditions under which the school will accept transfer credits from another school;
- Whether completing a course of instruction will qualify a student for acceptance into a labor union, or for various certifications or occupations;
- Course requirements or grounds for terminating enrollment;
- Whether courses have been endorsed by counselors, members of a particular industry, government officials, or former students;
- The school’s size, location, facilities or equipment;
- Availability, frequency, and appropriateness of courses to employment objectives the courses are purportedly designed to meet;
- Number, availability, and qualifications of faculty or other personnel;
- The nature of specialized instruction, counseling, or other assistance;
- The nature or extent of any course prerequisites;
- Subject matter or other facts related to degrees or certificates a student is to be awarded upon completion of a course of study;
- Whether a degree or certificate has been authorized by a state educational agency;
- Other matters the school is required by law to disclose to prospective students.
