Career Training
Students enrolled in GED® test preparation and English language classes also have the opportunity to participate in programs that lead to workforce preparation, employment skills training, and industry-specific training. Career training programs are available in these areas:

Program Steps

Students receive employability skills training to increase soft skills such as time management, goal setting, interviewing basics, communication skills, creating a professional image, and more. - Take Workforce Training Classes
Students co-enroll in in-demand career training programs leading to an industry-recognized credential.
Career training programs align with the MCCCD Fields of Interest so students can earn stackable credentials in a career pathway. Programs also align with the Maricopa County and City of Phoenix Workforce Development Plans for target industries in the local workforce regions.
