Block Calendar
Rio Salado College's academic calendar is divided into three terms: fall, spring and summer. The fall and spring terms each have 16 blocks. Each block is 16 weeks long with a fixed start and end date. The summer term has 8 blocks. When you register for classes, you'll select a start date for your classes. Your start date determines your block for that term. If you are planning to complete a certificate or degree at Rio, all your classes for that term must be completed within your block's fixed start and end date.
