Distracted driving is rampant on our roadways, killing hundreds each year.
Unfortunately, it is easier than ever to drive distracted. The technology in our vehicles allows us to make phone calls, dictate texts or emails and update social media while we are behind the wheel - all actions proven to increase crash risk. We want to encourage and empower everyone to put safety first.
Rio Salado College invites you to join us for a 30-minute webinar open to all students and staff starting at 12:00 p.m.m on July 27, 2023.
The webinar will be aimed at:
- Identifying how distractions can impair our ability to drive
- How to apply strategies to reduce and eliminate distractions while driving
- Increasing the awareness of students, staff and faculty on the legal ramifications of distracted driving.
