We look forward to seeing everyone at Rio Salado Commencement on May 2! We are still seeking commencement speaker applicants and have extended the deadline. Please apply by 4 p.m. this Wednesday, March 27. Applicants must be available to audition April 2-4, 2024.
Qualifications: Graduates must be receiving a degree from Rio Salado College between May 1, 2023, and Dec. 30, 2024.
If you are interested in being considered, please submit a letter of interest that includes/answers the following:
- Your full name, student ID, home address and best phone number to reach you.
- How did you reach your goal of graduation and who has helped you along the way?
- How do you feel about having attained your degree at Rio Salado and what do you see for yourself in your future?
- Please provide a list of the Maricopa Community Colleges you attended.
- What is your program of study, approximate number of credits earned at Rio Salado and your future goals?
- Any additional information about your academic journey you would like to share with us.
Please submit your letter of interest by Wednesday, March 27, 2024, by 4 p.m. via email to Julie.Cober@riosalado.edu.
A Student Speaker Committee will review submissions and invite finalists to audition. Notifications will be sent by Friday, March 29.
