Rio Salado’s National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) club marked the conclusion of its donation drive for the month of National Homelessness Awareness Month on Nov. 21, 2024. The student group collected cleaning supplies and hygiene items for the non-profit organization 7th Dream Helping Hearts. This drive was particularly meaningful because a fellow NSLS student, Shaniqua Hopkins, is the founder of the organization.

Current NSLS Student President Blake Stokes shared, “We are so happy to have the opportunity to support 7th Dream Helping Hearts and their goal of helping foster at-risk pregnant and parenting teens and their children. We hope that these essential supplies make a positive impact in the lives of these families.”

The organization thanks everyone who donated, including Rio Salado students and employees.
