Student Life & Leadership is thrilled to share that the East Valley Rotaract Club at Rio Salado College held its very first meeting on Thursday, Feb. 20, and it was a fantastic success! Attendees gathered on the 6th floor of the Tempe Tower to engage in conversation, share a meal, and enjoy some laughs together. We had a wonderful turnout, with enthusiastic Rotaract members eager to get involved and make a positive impact in our community.
Meeting Highlights
Special Guests: We were honored to have special guests from our sponsoring Rotary clubs which includes Mesa West Rotary Club, Tempe South Rotary Club, and Camelback Crossroads Rotary Club. Their presence and support are invaluable as we launch and grow our new Rotaract club!
Upcoming Opportunities: We are excited to announce that East Valley Rotaract members have the opportunity to participate in five service events and three social events throughout the month of March! This is a great way for our members to serve their community and get to know one another.
Leadership Opportunities: We began discussing the exciting leadership opportunities available within our club. This is a fantastic opportunity for members to develop their professional skills and gain hands-on experience in leadership.

We’re also incredibly grateful for the support of our sponsor Rotary clubs, college leadership, and Arizona Rotaract District Council, who not only attended but shared invaluable advice to help guide us along the way. Our club focuses on taking action through community service and growing our professional and leadership skills. We offer monthly club meetings, service opportunities, and social events!
