Take the steps needed to begin your classes with Rio Salado College.
Tuition Assistance Benefits Training
The initial or follow-up training is mandatory and can be completed in-person at the Luke AFB Education Office prior to enrolling in classes.
Admissions
Submit an admission application for Rio Salado College at admissions.maricopa.edu and upload your driver’s license to complete ID verification.
For Airmen with an out-of-state driver’s license, submit the following:
- US passport or birth certificate
- Orders to Luke AFB
- LES
Evaluation of Prior College Coursework
Submit transcripts of prior college coursework for evaluation or prerequisite approval. This process could take up to 5 business days. Information on the process can be found online.
Placement Exams
Enrollment into English, Math and Reading classes requires placement. You can take an online placement exam at maricopa.edready.org or submit a copy of a high school transcript if you graduated within the last 10 years.

Class Registration
To enroll in classes for your CCAF, view the Rio Salado College GEM list. Rio Salado offers online courses in each of the five general education areas—mathematics, written and oral communications, social sciences and humanities.
CCAF (Community College of the Air Force)
With a combination of classes and exams, you can complete your CCAF at Rio Salado College in your own time frame.
